Wei Mingke, the Consul General of the Kingdom of Denmark in Shanghai, led a delegation to Haiyan county, Jiaxing, Zhejiang province on March 13, marking a significant step towards strengthening bilateral cooperation.

During the visit, Wei and his team toured Zhejiang Holip Electronic Technology Co Ltd's production workshop, gaining insights into its green initiatives and product development processes.

At a subsequent symposium, Wei expressed gratitude for Haiyan's support for the Danfoss Group's development in the region, acknowledging the mutually-beneficial cooperation between Danfoss and Haiyan.

He highlighted Denmark's ecological focus, aligning with China's dual carbon goals and Haiyan's green initiatives. Wei pledged to maintain communication to attract more Danish investment to China.

In recent years, Haiyan has been continuously improving its business environment, aiming to provide the best conditions for enterprise development. Going forward, Haiyan will more closely communicate and engage in deeper exchanges with relevant Danish parties, enhancing industrial cooperation, exploring trade potential, deepening cultural exchanges, and consolidating partnerships.

Establishing its presence in Haiyan in 2005, the Danfoss Group has deepened its ties with the region over the past 19 years. With nine projects being carried out in Haiyan, the county has become one of Danfoss's largest production bases in the Asia-Pacific region. In May 2023, the signing of the second phase project further solidified the partnership between Haiyan and the Danfoss Group, with construction scheduled to commence in April.
