Hangzhou, renowned for its picturesque West Lake and lush greenery, was transformed into a winter wonderland as a rare snow blanketed the cityscape on Feb 6.

Residents, accustomed to the city's mild winters, were delighted by the unexpected flurry, taking to the streets to capture the magical scenery and enjoy the wondrous atmosphere.

The snowfall brought a sense of tranquility to Hangzhou's bustling urban areas, with the city's landmarks, such as the West Lake Broken Bridge, Leifeng Pagoda, and the Grand Canal, imbued with a rare winter charm.

Families ventured out to West Lake, where the iconic landscape was covered in a delicate coat of snow, creating a scene reminiscent of a traditional Chinese ink painting. Children had fun building snowmen and engaging in snowball fights, while couples strolled hand in hand, creating lasting memories against the backdrop of the serene lake.
