Keqiao Textile Expo in Shaoxing, Zhejiang province has achieved a coveted international certification from the Global Association of the Exhibition Industry (UFI), local media reported on March 10.

UFI is regarded as the most prestigious international organization in the exhibition industry, boasting nearly 900 member organizations from 83 countries worldwide.

"The international certification undoubtedly further enhances Keqiao's image as an 'international textile capital.' We will optimize the exhibition in terms of exhibition mode, exhibition effect, exhibition scale, and supporting activities," said an official from the Keqiao Exhibition Industry Development Center.

The announcement of the certification comes ahead of the much-anticipated 2023 Keqiao Textile Expo (Spring), which is scheduled to run from April 26 to 28. The upcoming expo will feature a larger core fabric exhibition area of 28,000 square meters, and 1,500 standard booths.

The expo's investment promotion team has been reaching out to buyers and designers in Yiwu, Hangzhou, and other cities. In March, the team will send the first round of invitation emails to foreign customers.

The Keqiao Textile Expo Overseas Exhibition will be held in Seoul, South Korea, from March 22 to March 24. More than 450 foreign companies have reserved over 1,100 booths.
