Authorities in East China's Zhejiang province recently named 68 digital agricultural factories, including digital farms, digital ranches, and digital fishing grounds, and the second batch of 10 future farms, including future farms, future ranches, and future fishing grounds, that will improve the application level of digital technology in the rural industry and accelerate the construction of the modern agricultural industry system.

Zhejiang had announced the first batch of 10 future farms in July 2022.

The number of future farms in Zhejiang is expected to reach 50 by the end of 2025. Zhejiang will promote the system integration and comprehensive application of digital technology through digital production methods and business concepts.
