A tourism route in Huzhou, East China's Zhejiang province recently made the list of the 128 boutique rural tourism routes in China released by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism.

Of the 128 listed routes, the one from Huzhou features places including Digang village, Chengshangou Scenic Spot, Badujie Scenic Spot and Xianshan Lake Wetland Park.

The route starts from Digang village in Huzhou's Nanxun district, a popular site for experiencing rustic rural life in Jiangnan, a region south of the Yangtze River.

Digang is also renowned for its mulberry fish ponds, a special dike-pond model that integrates fish ponds with the breeding of mulberry silkworms.

After this village is the Badujie Scenic Spot in Chanxing county, where tourists can admire the splendid view of nearly 30,000 gingko trees that stretch for dozens of kilometers.

The third stop, Xianshan Lake Wetland Park, is a national 4A level scenic spot where people gather to do rowing and observe egrets.

The route then continues with Yuncun village and Moganshan Commercial Street before ending at Luoxinbao, a renowned homestay.
