A graduate of the Chemistry Department of Zhejiang University, Xing Hao is also a postdoctoral research fellow at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology.

In 2021, Xing joined Hangzhou Zhijiang New Materials Co., Ltd and led a research team in developing new adhesives used in electric vehicles. These adhesives are now Zhijiang's most famous product.

With its 30 percent domestic market share in construction sealants, Hangzhou Zhijiang New Materials is considered a "hidden champion" in the industry.
