Jinhua artist go viral for food carvings

Wang Weiting, a 38-year-old artist in Jinhua, East China's Zhejiang province, recently rose to fame as his food sculptures featured on a popular video-sharing platform went viral, according to local media reports.
Among Wang's most popular works were the carvings of the portrait of Li Xian, a Chinese actor, on a loaf of bean curd. His other works include a silhouette of Dilireba, a Chinese actress of the Uygur ethnic group, on an apple, and a portrait of Zhong Nanshan, a prominent respiratory disease expert, on a stack of old newspapers.
