Spring Festival customs enthrall foreign teachers, students

Twenty-five foreign teachers and students from the University of Nottingham Ningbo China, experienced folk activities to mark the Spring Festival in Zhangjia village, Yayan town, Ningbo's Fenghua district on Jan 27.
The teachers and students, who come from 16 countries and regions, learned how to make popcorns and Qingtuan, a green glutinous rice-ball dessert, the traditional way and had the chance to savor local cuisines.
The University of Nottingham Ningbo China, the first joint-venture university in China, is presently home to over 8,000 students and staff members from 70 countries.
This year, 170 students from the university opted to stay in Ningbo for the Spring Festival holiday. Relevant services and facilities in the school will remain operational during the holidays.
