The 11th plenary session of the promotional body for collaboration between China's Zhejiang province and Germany's Schleswig-Holstein state was held online on Dec 17.
Zhejiang and Schleswig-Holstein established sister-city relations in 1986 and have since been cooperating in economics, trade, science, technology, culture, education, sports, healthcare, human resources, and many other areas. The promotional body, founded in 1995, has played a major role in the process.
Attendees of the session said that Zhejiang’s development goals suggest a promising future for bilateral cooperation. The two sides agreed to strengthen cooperation in digital economy, scientific innovation, healthcare, environmental protection, higher education, and more.
