The Zhejiang government recently organized a series of cultural experiences in its capital of Hangzhou from Oct 29 to 30 to give a better understanding of Zhejiang to more visitors from around the world.

Foreigners who study and work in the province were invited to shoot videos of local cultural activities in a bid to showcase the natural scenery and cultural features of the province.

They recorded a qipao show and a Kunqu opera performance and tasted traditional Chinese food in the 2020 China Great Canal Temple Fair which was held in the Xiangji Temple in Hangzhou from Oct 30 to Nov 3.

In addition, they experienced traditional cloth tie-dyeing techniques and felt the depth of China's time-honored silk history through the exhibits in the China National Silk Museum.
