Song Tianning, 26, from Jiaxing, was diagnosed with congenital hearing impairment 24 years ago.

Song studied e-commerce at the Zhejiang Economic and Trade Polytechnic when he was 19 and developed an interest in webpage production. He taught himself at school.

Song now works as a programmer in a local internet company.

"This is the first national award I've won. It is a recognition of my skills," said Song.

He was the youngest member of the Zhejiang delegation.
