Introduction: 

Cloud Town, located in the core area of Hangzhou Zhijiang national resort area in Zhejiang province, is the birthplace of Zhejiang's characteristic towns.

The town vigorously introduces high-end information industry projects featuring cloud computing and big data and promotes the agglomeration and development of characteristic industries. It centers on four industrial ecologies – Alibaba Cloud, satellite cloud, CrabIoT (an internet of things chip) and smart hardware.

Alibaba Cloud settled in Cloud Town in August, 2016. And the town, with Alibaba Cloud as the lead, introduced more than 400 key companies and incubated multi-functional enterprises with a valuation of over $10 billion, such as DT Dream. Hangzhou's "City Brain" system, an intelligent system aimed at optimizing the management of traffic and urban governance, was also born in the town.
