A record 210,000 passengers entered and exited China through East China's Zhejiang province during the Spring Festival holiday from Feb 4 to 10, an 11.7 percent year-on-year increase, according to the province's immigration authorities.

Figures show that there were over 110,000 outbound travelers and 100,000 inbound ones, with average daily passenger flow exceeding 22,000 at Hangzhou Xiaoshan International Airport, the busiest airport in Zhejiang.

In order to ensure the smooth operation during the travel rush, the immigration authorities have made sufficient preparations for an efficient clearance process that allows people to enter or exit the country within 30 minutes, including organizing special queues for the elderly, children and people with mobility difficulties.
