It's been more than two years since East China's Zhejiang province initiated the "At Most One Visit" administrative reform in 2016. Though the reform has yielded fruitful results, many governmental officials think it is still necessary to further deepen it.

At the 2019 Zhejiang two sessions from Jan 26 to 31, deputies to the 13th Zhejiang Provincial People's Congress and members of the 12th Zhejiang Provincial Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) held discussions on this issue.

Li Wangrong, a lawyer as well as a congress deputy, explained that with the deepening of the reform, a lot of problems about laws and regulations emerged, which requires the government to strengthen the legislative support. He thought the priority of the work should be looking for ways to tackle the difficulties people and companies encountered and adjust related laws and regulations.

Zhejiang is known for its prosperous private economy. Tian Jun, vice mayor of Quzhou and a member of Zhejiang CPPCC committee, said the "At Most One Visit" reform is vital to improving Zhejiang's business climate and strengthening companies' confidence.

"For example, an effective way to address the financing difficulties is to build social credit systems which I think can be facilitated by promoting the administrative reform," Tian added.

The government has laid out further and more detailed information for companies to go through administrative procedures, according to the deputy Wu Changhong. He suggested that good policies and measures be institutionalized as soon as possible.
