China marked its first Farmers' Harvest Festival on Sept 23. From this year on, the festival, to be celebrated annually on the autumnal equinox, will welcome the harvest season and honor agricultural workers.

Chun'an county in East China's Zhejiang province ushered in its harvest season in September, with a myriad of fruit, nuts and fish appearing on the market.
