Meanwhile, the Zhongguan Road Industrial Park in Zhenhai district, Ningbo, was formally authorized to become a provincial-level industrial park for introducing outstanding talents, which is the second industrial park of its kind in Ningbo after the one established in Yuyao in 2012, and makes the city the only one in the province to have two such parks.

The park now boasts over 10,000 innovative and entrepreneurial talents, including 46 that have been selected into the national talent recruitment plan and 69 that have been selected into the provincial talent recruitment plan, and houses 223 high-tech companies specializing mainly in new materials, smart manufacturing and innovative designing.
