The Information Office of Zhejiang Provincial People's Government, together with Zhejiang Daily and Zhejiang Radio & TV Group, initiated an activity to collect quality English videos, pictures and articles from government departments at all levels, institutes and companies in August.

The activity, titled "Beautiful Zhejiang", is aimed at gathering publicity resources in the province and displaying them at major publicity platforms in the hope of expanding their influence and letting the outside world learn more about Zhejiang.

Organizers have come up with eight topics to help capture the charm of the province's landscapes, culture, technological innovation, craftsmanship, education, international exchanges, people and their ways of life.

Government departments, institutes and companies in Zhejiang are encouraged to submit eligible videos with English subtitles, English articles and pictures that are themed on these topics and meet the format requirements raised by the organizers.

Once adopted, these materials will be showcased on several English portals and social media platforms from October to December, including the Zhejiang English website, the Zhejiang Facebook pages, the new media platform of Zhejiang Daily and the international channel of Zhejiang TV.
