Zhejiang has high hopes for digital development
East China's Zhejiang province recently released a three-year plan for implementing the Digital Zhejiang strategy through standardization.
According to the plan, Zhejiang will make and implement a group of advanced standards, carry out a raft of standardization projects in key industries, and develop a batch of models that can be duplicated and promoted by 2020.
By 2019, Zhejiang will complete a systematic framework on standardization for its digital transformation and further improve it by 2020, the plan stated.
It also pointed out that the major task of the digital transformation is to build a smart government, develop a digital economy and turn Zhejiang into an intelligent province.
In the future, Zhejiang will recommend a batch of provincial standards to the central government in the hope of upgrading them to become standards for the country, the whole industry and even the whole world.
