Power equipment industry

Weifang's fuel power (internal combustion engine) industry maintains a leading position in China, while new types of power such as hydrogen fuel, magnetic power, and air power are developing rapidly. The city is home to a number of leading enterprises specializing in the sector, such as Weichai Power, Haoxin Group, Huafeng Power, and Fuyuan Superchargers. The market share of the city's leading product — engines — is 34 percent, the highest in China. The city's power equipment industry cluster has been selected as a national advanced manufacturing industry cluster.
