Qingzhou, a county-level city administered by Weifang in East China's Shandong province, covers an area of 1,561 square kilometers and currently governs four sub-districts, eight towns, and a provincial economic development zone. It has a population of 960,000, including 28,500 ethnic minority residents.

Qingzhou is conveniently located, with high-speed railways, expressways, and national and provincial highways passing through the area.

The district boasts a healthy ecological environment, with a total forest area of 823,000 mu (54,867 hectares) and a forest coverage rate of 26.6 percent.

Qingzhou has prominent industrial advantages, with a strong manufacturing base and industrial clusters focusing on high-end chemicals, intelligent manufacturing, medical equipment, and automobiles and components, among others. There are currently 356 industrial enterprises with annual revenue of 20 million yuan ($2.8 million) or above, 159 enterprises with annual revenue exceeding 100 million yuan, and eight enterprises with output value exceeding 1 billion yuan. Modern agriculture is rapidly advancing, with five pillar industries — melons and vegetables, animal husbandry, flowers, fruits, and high-quality grains.

Cultural tourism is thriving, with 15 A-level scenic spots, including a 5A-level and three 4A-level spots, located in the city.
