Changyi, a county-level city administered by Weifang in East China's Shandong province, covers an area of 1,630.8 square kilometers and is home to six towns, three sub-districts, and 690 administrative villages (communities), with a total population of 560,000.
Changyi is well-located and easily accessible. Major transportation arteries such as railways, expressways, and national highways run through the area. It is located 70 kilometers from the Qingdao Airport, 30 km from the Weifang Airport, and 200 km from the Jinan Airport.
In 2023, the city's GDP was 58.1 billion yuan ($8.14 billion), up 5.9 percent year-on-year. The general public budget revenue for the year reached 3.85 billion yuan, up 3.7 percent year-on-year. Fixed asset investment grew by 9.5 percent year-on-year, and total retail sales of social consumer goods amounted to 273 billion yuan.
