Shenzhen Court of International Arbitration (SCIA) will host the 2026 Foreign Direct Investment International Arbitration Moot (FDI Moot) Global Rounds from 23 to 27 October 2026.
SCIA warmly invites you to serve as an arbitrator and share your professional insights and practical experience with participating teams.

2. Elimination Phase Hearings R16
27th October, 2026:
1. Elimination Phase Hearings Quarters
2. Elimination Phase Hearings Semis, 5th
3. Elimination Phase Hearings Final, 3rd
4. Awards and Closing Ceremony
Arbitrator Registration
Basic Requirements:
1. You must have at least 3 years PQE; 2 years PQE for FDI Moot alumni.
2. Those from other relevant professions who have also trained as arbitrators (e.g. CIArb) may also register.
3. You must be fluent in English as a working language.
Preference will be given to candidates who:
1. Have experience in international investment arbitration;
2. Have prior experience as a moot court judge or participant;
3. Have served as a judge in English_based arbitration moots;
4. Have acted as an arbitrator in actual cases;
5. Are willing to serve as reserve arbitrators for this edition.
Additional Requirements:
1. When registering, please indicate the year in which you received your law degree and the year in which you became fully qualified.
2. You must be able to attend in person in Shenzhen (all related costs are to be borne by the arbitrator).
The FDI Moot aims to help future lawyers to attain a practical understanding of these issues. The case and hearings offer a unique forum for academics and practitioners from around the world to discuss developments and assess emerging talents.
