From 2 November to 5 November 2025, SCIA and SCIAHK Dual Qualification Tribunal Secretary Training Program, jointly organized by the Shenzhen Court of International Arbitration (SCIA) and the South China International Arbitration Center (HK) (SCIAHK), was held in Shenzhen, Hong Kong SAR, and Jiangmen.

On 2 November, a total of 52 participants from Hong Kong SAR and the Chinese mainland attended. The training began at the SCIAHK conference hall in the Two International Finance Centre, Central, Hong Kong SAR, where Kwai Huen Wong, Council Member of the SCIA and Executive Chairman of the Board of Directors of the SCIAHK, engaged with the participants.

In Hong Kong SAR, Anthony Neoh, SC, Vice Chairman of the SCIA Council and Chairman of the Board of Directors of SCIAHK, delivered a lecture titled "Introduction to International Arbitration" on 3 November. Barrister Barbara Wong, SCIA and SCIAHK Arbitrator, and Icarus Chan, Lawyer of Saadeh Rahman LLP discussed "The Key Duties of a Tribunal Secretary and Important Considerations in International Arbitration" and "Tribunal Secretary in Practice: Procedural Arrangements, Hearings, and Awards", respectively.

Brooks Daly, SCIA Arbitrator and Independent Arbitrator, Former Deputy Secretary General of the Permanent Court of Arbitration (PCA), delivered a lecture on "The List Procedure for the Appointment of Arbitrators" at the SCIA Tower in Qianhai, Shenzhen, on 4 November.

On the afternoon of 5 November, the participants visited Jiangmen Intermediate People's Court, the China Qiaodu Museum of Overseas Chinese, and the SCIA Jiangmen Center. Zheng Pingping, Deputy Chief Judge of the Fourth Civil Division of the Jiangmen Intermediate People's Court, introduced the Court's innovative practices to enhance legal support for the Overseas Chinese. At the museum, they learned about the overseas struggle history and contributions to cultural exchange of overseas Chinese from Jiangmen. Li Yiming, Deputy Secretary General of the SCIA Jiangmen Center, provided an overview of the Center's founding background and recent development. Participants also toured the hearing rooms at the Jiangmen Center.

Zheng Pingping, Deputy Chief Judge of the Fourth Civil Division of the Jiangmen Intermediate People's Court, introduced the innovative practices of the Jiangmen Intermediate People's Court.

Li Yiming, Deputy Secretary General of the SCIA Jiangmen Center, presented an overview of the SCIA Jiangmen Center.
