Recently, the Global Finals of the 2025 Foreign Direct Investment International Arbitration Moot (FDI Moot) were held in Boston, USA. During the opening ceremony, it is announced that the 2026 FDI Moot Global Finals will be hosted in Shenzhen, China, by the Shenzhen Court of International Arbitration (SCIA).

This marks the first time the global finals of one of the top three international arbitration moot court competitions will take place in China. Over 300 top international investment arbitration experts and more than 60 elite university teams are expected to converge in Shenzhen, injecting a strong international investment-law dimension into the city’s APEC year and further raising the global profile of both China and SCIA.

As the organizer of the FDI Moot China National Round, SCIA has built a sustained platform for international exchange and talent development since  bringing the competition to China in 2020. To date, more than 500 legal experts from over 60 countries and jurisdictions have served as arbitrators. Nearly 40 teams from the Chinese mainland, Hong Kong SAR, and Macao SAR compete annually, earning high praise from the global FDI Moot organizers.
