The CCC-ICLP International ADR Center (Guarantee) Ltd was incorporated under the Companies Act No 7 of 2007 in 2018, as a not for profit limited liability company. It's a joint venture initiative of the Ceylon Chamber of Commerce (CCC) and the Institute for the Development of Commercial Law and Practice (ICLP). The company was established to fill a vacuum in the dispute resolution regime then prevailing in Sri Lanka. It was a response to an urgent need in Sri Lanka for more effective and efficient dispute resolution for investment, trade and business.
