Nantong Alchemy launches smart food manufacturing project

A signing ceremony for a new food materials intelligent manufacturing project was held in the Nantong Economic and Technological Development Area (NETDA) on Dec 29. 

The project is being invested and constructed by Nantong Alchemy, a leading enterprise in the field of food preservation and freshness technology and a recognized national "little giant" enterprise. 

With a total investment of 500 million yuan ($71.59 million), the project aims to integrate intelligent manufacturing equipment and the digital factory concept to create a modern food manufacturing ecosystem. 

Once fully completed, it is projected to have an annual capacity of ten thousand metric tons, which would enhance food safety levels while optimizing the color, aroma, taste, and texture of food products, accelerating the transformation and upgrading of the food industry towards greener, more intelligent, and high-value practices.
