Vocational skills competition kicks off in NETDA
The 10th Vocational Skills Competition in the Nantong Economic and Technological Development Area commenced at the Jiangsu Province Nantong Industry and Trade Technician College on Aug 14.
The competition, tailored to the industrial needs of the region, features 10 professions including Internet marketing specialist, industrial vision system maintenance technician, crane operator, and automotive maintenance technician, spanning industries such as advanced manufacturing, new-generation information technology, and new materials.
In the first phase of the competition, a total of 206 participants from 59 companies have registered for six categories. The participants have already undergone initial screenings and pre-competition training and will complete the competition this week.
The event, hosted by NETDA, aims to leverage vocational skills competitions to inspire more talented individuals to learn and master new skills. This initiative seeks to cultivate a skilled workforce and provide solid support for the high-quality development of the area.
