NETDA talks with representatives of Japanese enterprises

The Nantong Economic and Technological Development Area (NETDA) invited 42 senior executives of 24 Japanese enterprises with an established presence in the area to attend a meeting marking NETDA's 40th anniversary.
Wu Xinming, Party secretary of Nantong, was invited to deliver a speech. He said that Nantong has become a hub of Japanese-invested companies in the Yangtze River Delta, and that NETDA has emerged as such a hub in Nantong.
Wu expressed hope that more Japanese enterprises will invest in the city and promised to create the best possible business environment to support companies.
Senior executives of Japanese companies, including Oji Holdings, Sumitomo Bakelite, and Daio, thanked NETDA and local authorities for their long-term support and assistance.
They also said that they are optimistic about the Chinese market and will increase their investment in Nantong.

Bao Delin, secretary of the Party Working Committee of NETDA, thanked Japanese-invested companies for their outstanding contributions to the development area's economic and social development.
Before the meeting, Bao visited the 24 Japanese enterprises. He introduced the achievements made by NETDA over the past four decades, as well as the Sino-Japanese Industrial Cooperation Future Industrial Park in the area.
