Yutaka Yokoi, former Japanese ambassador to China, visited the Nantong Economic and Technological Development Area (NETDA) on June 1.
While touring the exhibition hall of NETDA, Yokoi listened to a report on Japanese enterprise investment in the area and expressed interest in the development of Japanese-invested businesses. He also praised NETDA's favorable business environment.
The former Japanese ambassador to China also marveled at the rapid changes that have taken place in Nantong after visiting the Zilang Lake in NETDA.
In recent years, NETDA has made significant achievements in attracting Japanese investment, becoming home to the largest number of Japanese-invested companies in Nantong, and the China-Japan (Nantong) Industrial Cooperation Demonstration Park being built at the New Era Future Industrial Park is expected to further boost investment from the country.
