Nantong Economic and Technological Development Area (NETDA) in Jiangsu province held a job fair on Feb 25, during which more than 1,800 people expressed their interest in potential job opportunities.
The event gathered more than 220 local enterprises, offering over 7,000 positions for production workers, technicians, engineers, and various other roles, meeting the needs of recent graduates, veterans, professionals, migrant workers, individuals facing employment challenges, and those seeking career transitions.
The fair also featured a part-time job zone focusing on new employment groups such as food delivery drivers, couriers, cleaners, and security personnel, meeting the demands of flexible workers.
The human resources department at the fair offered employment services specifically tailored for veterans, including job registration and job recommendations.
Notably, the event was live-streamed on NETDA's smart employment service platform, enabling nine key employers to present 1,688 high-quality job positions for remote talent recruitment.
Furthermore, authorities coordinated with enterprises to visit manpower resource-rich cities such as Longnan in Gansu, Hanzhong in Shaanxi, and Yuncheng in Shanxi before and after the Spring Festival to facilitate the recruitment of skilled workers.
Additionally, organizers distributed over 1,000 sets of employment policy packages, providing comprehensive one-stop services encompassing employment and entrepreneurship guidance, as well as employment policy consultations.
