The Nantong Economic & Technological Development Area, or NETDA, located in Nantong city in East China's Jiangsu province, made great efforts last year in promoting public infrastructures and enhancing its community services to provide a better living environment for its residents.
The area renovated its Nengda Central Park that was built in 2012 and serves as the development area's ecological center.
In order to better meet the diversified needs of its local residents, the development area invested 800,000 yuan ($125,715) in upgrading the park. The park now has a 1.2-kilometer-long circular walking trail and a fitness area.
The green corridor of Xinghu Avenue – with a total length of 4 km – in the NETDA was also completed last year, becoming a new spot for residents to relax outdoors.
In addition, the NETDA built five small parks in its densely populated areas in 2021 with each of these parks having a different theme.
