The Nantong Economic & Technological Development Area or the NETDA -- located in Nantong city in East China's Jiangsu province -- held a conference on March 5 to summarize the achievements of the battle against pollution and analyze the situation for future work on pollution prevention and control during the 14th Five-Year Plan (2021-25) period.
It also drafted an overall plan for the fight for pollution prevention and control in the development zone, according to local media.
Zhang Jianhua, secretary of the Party working committee of the district, attended the meeting and stressed that the NETDA should invoke the "spirit of the wolf", to fight for pollution prevention and control with high standards and practical results -- as well as to help contribute to the development of a first-class development zone with the most competitive edge in the Yangtze River Delta region.
The conference commended four advanced collectives, including the Housing and Urban-Rural Development Bureau in Nantong, as well as 18 individuals.
