Chongchuan district has recently welcomed two new sports parks: the Gangyun Road sports park, which has officially opened, and the Wanhao Yuyuan sports park, which is nearing completion with an expected opening by the end of December. 

In recent years, Chongchuan has been enhancing public sports facilities by repurposing idle spaces and renovating older residential areas. The two parks marks a significant step in the district's efforts to vitalize underutilized areas and improve public sports infrastructure, bringing the total number of such parks to five. 

The ‌Gangyun Road sports park‌, covering approximately 5,800 square meters, was formerly an idle plot of land. It integrates sports, leisure, and green spaces, featuring airplane-shaped children's play equipment, table tennis tables, fitness equipment, two 5-a-side soccer fields, and a colorful running track, catering to all age groups. 

The soon-to-open ‌Wanhao Yuyuan sports park‌ spans 8,591 square meters. It is also designed as a multi-functional sports area, including four 5-a-side soccer fields, two table tennis courts, adult fitness facilities, and a children's play area, further enriching the district's fitness offerings.
