Amid the global wave of green and low-carbon transformation, Haimen's wind power equipment exports have shown strong growth.

As a crucial part of the Haimen wind power industry chain, Nantong Aeolon Wind Power Technology has seen its wind turbine blade exports exceed $617 million this year, marking an increase of 31.16 percent compared to the previous year. These blades were being shipped to major new energy markets across Europe, Oceania, and the Americas.

Dongzaogang Port, a key export hub in Haimen, operates with busy yet orderly efficiency. Giant wind turbine blades, each several dozen meters long, are carefully loaded onto ships with precise handling by large machinery.

To date, the port has handled 1,429 wind turbine blades, with a total operation volume exceeding 1.4 million cubic meters, representing a growth of approximately 50 percent over last year.

In response to the blades being oversized, heavy, and fragile, the port has optimized its facilities and implemented a 24-hour, round-the-clock operation model.

To meet growing market demand and the trend towards larger products, the port plans to build two new 50,000-metric-ton berths and introduce two large 150-ton gantry cranes, further enhancing its logistical support capacity for wind power equipment exports.
