A mobile museum nearly 200 square meters in size, designed by Nantong Museum, made a spectacular debut at Nantong Wenfeng Plaza during the National Day and Mid-Autumn Festival holiday, attracting nearly 30,000 visitors.
This month-long dinosaur-themed project integrates cultural experiences into daily life. To give more visitors the chance to explore the age of dinosaurs and discover nature's mysteries, a five-day science event titled "From the Age of Dinosaurs to a Green Future" was held from Oct 1 to 5. The event featured various interactive activities each morning and afternoon, including Awakening Sleeping Fossils, a 3D Dinosaur Assembly Experience, Secrets in Dinosaur Eggs, and Dinosaurs' Green Diet, drawing over 250 parent-child pairs to participate.
For the first time, more than 10 dinosaur fossils from the Nantong Museum were displayed, offering visitors an engaging prehistoric journey spanning millions of years. The collection featured skeletal fossils of dinosaurs like Velociraptor, Ankylosaurus, and Sinraptor, along with slab fossils of Sapeornis, Confuciusornis, and Protopteryx. Educational materials highlighted China's renowned dinosaur regions and the process of naming dinosaurs.
