Haimen-made wind turbine blades exported globally
Fully loaded with 42 domestically produced wind turbine blades, the Portuguese-flagged vessel UHL FRESH departed Dongzao Port in Haimen, Nantong, bound for Canada, on July 3.
In the first half of this year, Haimen port new area exported a total of 952 wind turbine blades weighing approximately one million cubic tons, a 67 percent year-on-year increase. The total export value reached $268 million, a 44.9 percent year-on-year increase.
To safeguard the export of wind power blades, the Nantong Station of Exit and Entry Frontier Inspection has implemented a 24-hour one-stop service system and optimized online procedures for frontier inspection formalities, supporting the development of Haimen' new energy industry.
