Chongchuan district in Nantong has actively explored the development path of a low-altitude integrated economic model in recent years, with 15 enterprises related to the low-altitude economy industrial chain achieving a total revenue of 453 million yuan ($62.58 million) in 2024.

A standout example is Aifei Aviation Technology (Nantong) Co, a leader in Chongchuan's low-altitude economy sector. It provides customized software platforms and management solutions tailored to various drone application scenarios across urban management, transportation,  and other realms.

The company has also vigorously promoted university-industry collaboration, investing nearly 20 million yuan to establish a drone assembly production line at Nantong Institute of Technology. Additionally, it has launched specialized training programs to cultivate professionals in low-altitude operations and technical expertise.

Looking ahead, Chongchuan aims to focus on areas including investment promotion, event hosting, drone test flight base construction, and industrial alliance formation, establishing a distinctive low-altitude economy demonstration zone in Jiangsu province and a pioneering development hub in that field for Nantong.
