Chongchuan accelerates key projects to fuel high-quality growth
The Chongchuan district in Nantong is driving forward major projects at full speed in the new year, aiming to promote high-quality development.
At the construction site of the Nantong Bote Automotive Parts Co, workers are bustling to complete the 47 mu (3.13 hectares) smart factory. With a total investment of 600 million yuan ($82.95 million), the facility is expected to produce 80,000 automotive sunroofs and bearing components annually, generating 600 million yuan in yearly sales.
In February 2025, the 500-million-yuan project of Guangdong HUARISE Electronics Technology Co commenced construction. With newly built facilities, including manufacturing plants and R&D buildings, the project is expected to achieve annual sales of no less than 700 million yuan and provide over 800 jobs.
Ongoing projects advance rapidly while new investments surge.
A high-precision silicone rubber production base settled in Chongchuan on March 5, bolstering the automotive electronics sector of the city. The project company also plans to launch a second-phase expansion in Nantong, further increasing its regional investment.
