Haimen Port New Area facilitates swift project approvals to boost business growth
The Haimen Port New Area in Nantong, Jiangsu province, has been enhancing its support services for projects within the area this year, aiding enterprises in accelerating their project review and approval processes.
One of the benefited projects located in the Haimen Port New Area is the first phase of the Jiangsu Zhenjiang Haifeng New Energy project. The project took just over six months from groundbreaking to the topping-out of the factory structure and is expected to commence operations in November this year, with the goal of launching production by the end of the year.
Established in 2004 with headquarters in Jiangyin, Zhenjiang New Energy's new project in the Haimen Port New Area has received a total investment of 5 billion yuan ($700.53 million). The newly acquired industrial land spans approximately 67 hectares, with a total construction area of about 400,000 square meters.
The first phase of the project, which has already commenced construction, involves the construction of a new offshore wind power foundation assembly workshop with a total investment of around 700 million yuan and a building area of approximately 60,000 square meters.
The entire process, from negotiations to signing the contract and settling in the area, took less than a month. The company's representative mentioned that after surveying multiple coastal regions, they ultimately chose the Haimen Port New Area, citing the region's robust foundation in the wind power and new energy industry as a key factor.
The company obtained the construction permit and began construction less than a month after the project's inception. The factory building’s structure is now complete, with the installation of supporting equipment currently underway. The casting project for the second phase is expected to commence construction by the end of this month.
