Blue calico cloth-made zodiac dolls, Nantong-style furniture, Nantong-style bonsais, banyao kites, and copper incense burners attracted much attention, as did the beautiful sound coming from a guqin, a seven-stringed plucked instrument. The Mei'an guqin is the only Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity in Nantong.
