Nantong culture, tourism resources debut at Xi'an expo

The Nantong municipal bureau of culture, broadcasting, television, and tourism recently arranged local cultural and tourism enterprises to participate in the 2024 Xi'an Silk Road International Tourism Expo, held in Xi'an from Aug 9 to 11.
At the expo, Nantong enterprises showcased over 20 cultural and creative products derived from the city's intangible cultural heritage, including redwood carvings, banyao kites, and blue calico cloth.
The bureau also distributed nearly 2,000 hand-sketched tourist maps and brochures, highlighting Nantong's diverse tourism resources and rich cultural heritage.

Under the theme "Deepening Tourism Cooperation, Sharing a Better Life", the expo highlighted resources, distinctive industries, and significant projects of countries and regions involved in the Belt and Road Initiative, along with Chinese provinces and cities, within its 42,000-square-meter venue.
The Nantong municipal bureau's participation has bolstered partnerships with BRI counterparts and businesses, embodying the Silk Road spirit of peace, cooperation, openness, inclusivity, mutual learning, mutual benefit, and win-win cooperation.
Additionally, showcasing Nantong's premium cultural and tourism offerings in Xi'an has significantly enhanced the city's appeal to medium and long-distance travelers, expanding its presence in the tourism market.
