Nantong primary school students visit Gimje City, South Korea

A delegation of 18 teachers and students from Nantong Zilang No 1 Primary School visited Gimje City, a sister city of Nantong in South Korea, from July 8 to 9 at the invitation of Gimje City.
The delegation visited local sites such as Geumsansa Temple and an art museum to learn about South Korean culture and the city's unique history and customs.

They also toured a local primary school, where they learned how to make kimbap, a Korean sushi roll, fold hanbok, traditional Korean clothing, and design Korean fans. The students also led their South Korean counterparts in crafting cultural and creative products from Nantong.

The mayor of Gimje City also appeared at the primary school to interact with the students from Nantong. He welcomed Nantong residents to visit Gimje City and promised to actively support high-level collaboration between the two cities in more fields.
Nantong and Gimje City established a sister-city relationship in 1997. This visit marks a significant advancement in educational cooperation between the two cities.
