The first group of 40 primary school students commenced their extracurricular class at Nantong Museum in Jiangsu province on April 20.

With the museum being the first stop, the students visited Nantong City Green Valley and Kaishan Island Resort to experience the city's long history as well as the beauty and wonder of nature.

At Nantong Museum, they were guided by the staff member to learn about the dazzling array of plants grown in the museum and the story of Zhang Jian (1853-1926), who is also the museum's founder.

These primary school students turned into a cook on Kaishan Island to try making meals themselves. They also played golf, went fishing, and learning equestrian on the island.
