5. "Four Greens"
"Four Greens" refer to the green broad beans, green soya beans, green peas, and green corn produced in Qidong. Due to the unique soil and climate in the county, Qidong-grown "Four Greens" are gifted with good taste and high trace element content.
Qidong now farms more than 220,000 mu (14,666.67 hectares) of "Four Greens" with a total yield of over 450,000 metric tons and output value of 2 billion yuan ($275.94 million) per year.

6. Haimen goat meat
Haimen goat is a specialty food of Haimen and its meat is tender and delicious with only a slight scent of mutton. Changyang-branded Haimen goat meat is produced by Nantong Haiyang Food Co, whose chefs have produced various goat meat dishes such as stewed goat meat with golden carps to satisfy customers' diverse taste buds.

7. Xinzhong-branded fermented bean curd
Made in Shigang town in Tongzhou district, Xinzhong-branded fermented bean curd is a provincial intangible cultural heritage item and a time-honored brand. Jiangsu Xinzhong Brewing Co combines traditional making techniques with advanced technologies to make its products softer and more fragrant.

8. Xiting crisp biscuits
The first store to make such biscuits in Nantong was the Fuxing Store in Xiting town during the reign of Emperor Guangxu (1871-1908) of the Qing Dynasty (1644-1911). The extraordinarily crunchy hand-made snack is made of choice materials.
