Hai'an sees steady economic progress in 2022
Hai'an, a county-level city in Nantong, East China's Jiangsu province, has made steady progress in economic development in 2022, local media reported.
The GDP of the county in 2022 jumped 1.8 percent year-on-year to 137.98 billion yuan ($20.30 billion).
The added values of the city's primary, secondary, and tertiary industries were 7.971 billion yuan, 75.331 billion yuan, and 54.674 billion yuan.
Its taxable industrial turnover in 2022 reached 225 billion yuan, ranking first in Nantong.
The county's investment in fixed assets recorded 45.84 billion yuan.
Stable growth was also seen in its service sector, which received a taxable turnover of 100.37 billion yuan.
In addition, the county was home to 60 new enterprises in the service sector over the past year.
The county's foreign trade totaled 20.1 billion yuan in 2022.
Its general public budget revenue totaled 7.57 billion yuan, rising 5.89 percent.
