Longzheng subdistrict, Luoting village, and Fugang village in Hai'an, a county-level in Nantong, East China's Jiangsu province, recently made the first list of provincial demonstration zones for the construction of ecological civilization, local media reported.

Longzheng subdistrict is located in the northern suburbs of the county, which has been focusing on infrastructure construction and improving the living environment in recent years.

Luoting village in Qutang town is well known for its beautiful rural environment. In spring and summer, lotus in ponds and various flowers near roads are a common sight.

In addition, Fugang village in Jiangxie town has made the list of Jiangsu provincial villages for civilization construction.

It features tidy courtyards with pretty wall paintings that depict the history and culture of the village.
