Project introduction has been a significant engine of industrial development in Chongchuan district, Nantong, East China's Jiangsu province, over the past year. 

In 2022, the district introduced 45 projects, with a total investment of more than 42 billion yuan ($6.13 billion). 

Located in Chongchuan, the Chongchuan Economic Development Zone last year introduced a 3-billion-yuan project to build a manufacturing center for auto parts. 

Chongchuan also organized a promotion for its investment environment in Hangzhou, East China's Zhejiang province, on Dec 20, 2022, to attract more projects. 

The event saw the signing of agreements for 30 projects. 

Next year, Chongchuan aims to continue bringing in more projects. 

The district will organize more than 12 activities to attract investment and introduce 400 high-profile talents specializing in emerging industries, according to Chongchuan authorities.
