Renovation project continues to provide convenience to residents
Chongchuan district, Nantong, East China's Jiangsu province has renovated 112 old residential communities in the past three years.
Official statistics show that local authorities plan to invest 5.4 billion yuan ($775.14 million) in renovating 251 old residential communities that were built and put into use before 2000.
This year, the district has renovated 50 such residential communities.
During the renovation process, a series of facilities that provide convenience to residents, such as elevators, parking sheds, and charging spots for electric motorcycles, have been added and built in the old residential communities.
