Longxin Group, a leading construction company based in Haimen district, Nantong, recently won approval from the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security and the country's post-doctor regulatory commission to establish a national-level post-doctoral scientific research center.

The group, founded in 1958, is engaged in every aspect of the construction industrial chain and has consistently stressed the importance of technological research and development. 

The group has its own professional R&D institution focusing on innovation and industry-university-research cooperation in fields such as prefabricated construction, environmentally-friendly construction, intelligent construction, and building information modeling.

Over the past few years, the group has completed several national and provincial sci-tech projects and played an important role in formulating industrial standards.

It made the 2020 ENR Top 250 International Contractors list early this year and ranked 207th among the 2020 Top 500 Chinese Private Enterprises, with operating revenue of 42.05 billion yuan ($6.09 billion).

The post-doctoral center is expected to help attract more high-end workers and further enhance the group's capacity in technological innovation and the commercialization of research results.
