A conference on optimizing services for local businesses was held recently in Xinghua – a county-level city administered by Taizhou city in East China's Jiangsu province.
The event addressed the key concerns of companies such as land supplies, administrative approvals, upgrades, financial support and the needs of employees, with staff from Xinghua's departments discussing them one by one.
Three solutions were put forward during the conference to improve the general business environment.
Establishing a dynamic management system and designating key people to be responsible for problem resolutions was suggested, to ensure that every demand of companies had follow-up actions and could be fully handled.
In addition, replicable and promotable experiences and practices were deemed necessary in order to provide proficient, targeted and effective services.
A long-term mechanism was also suggested, to encourage municipal departments to conduct regular visits and contacts with local businesses.
It's expected that through the implementation of preferential policies and by resolving the difficulties of enterprises, local departments will be motivated to extend and improve their services.
